How has being a Cultural Anthropology graduate from Duke helped shape your professional success?

"I've used my degree directly in previous jobs, specifically market research. The ability to understand individuals and groups is helpful in all careers. Also, my honors thesis has allowed me to demonstrate to potential employers that I can sustain long-term projects successfully."

What advice would you give students in Cultural Anthropology?

"I would encourage them to do the honors thesis. It's my most significant body of work to date and fostered deep connections with my thesis advisers, whom I still talk to and see."
