Interest Groups bring faculty and graduate students together to explore a current topic, question, or issue in Cultural Anthropology. The department typically offers two interest groups per semester, each meeting 4-5 times on Mondays or Wednesdays. Students are required to sign up for one interest group each semester. In some cases, interest groups may be taken for course credit as one component of an independent study.

Early each semester, the department will circulate a calendar of scheduled events.
