Explores indigenous medicine's role in global health and focuses on four interrelated topics: basic medical paradigms and practices, access and utilization in different regions, cross-cultural health delivery, and the complexities of medical pluralism. Course themes will be explored through lecture, discussion, small group case analyses, comparative analytical exercises, and workshops. 3 units.
