Critical examination of capital from the 1960s to the present. Priority given to anthropological and related disciplinary approaches to the multiple cultural productions and lived experiences under divergent forms of capitalism. Theories and case studies of globalization and anti- and alternative globalization, capitalist imaginaries and fantasies, nature and the virtual, and disciplinary practices of labor, consumption, and the body.
