Can exercise be a kind of medicine? Grace, the filmmaker’s mother, has been living with various cancers for 19 years. During that time, as a way of mastering her illnesses, she competed in countless road races and Ironman competitions. The more she pushes the limits of her body, the more the illness pushes back.
