Society for Cultural Anthropology’s Teaching Tools
Federico Dupont Bernal, Joanna Marbaniang and Adam Rosenblatt
Cultural Anthropology graduate students Federico Dupont Bernal and Joanna Marbaniang, and International Comparative Studies Professor Adam Rosenblatt wrote for the Society for Cultural Anthropology’s Teaching Tools blog about “how comics lend themselves to engaging with speculation as a widespread, creative, and politically charged practice.“ The four blog posts—a co-authored introduction, and an individual blog post by each of us—reflect on making comics for research in very different contexts (Colombia, India, and the U.S.), comics pedagogy, and our collective work together in my CulAnth-crosslisted “Graphic Ethnography” class in Fall 2025.
