Summer Field Reports

At the end of the first and second Summer semesters of preliminary fieldwork, students will submit a 5-10 page Summer Field Report. 

Summer Field Reports should summarize research activities, and highlight key takeaways and highlight key takeaways that emerged through ethnographic research. These reports will be used to anchor conversations with your chair and committee members, and, in year 3, be integrated into CULANTH 804S Grant Writing.  

To submit your Summer Field Report, send an email to the DGS and your advisor (CCing the DGSA). You may optionally include your other committee members. For your second year Summer Field Report, include the instructor of the Grant Writing course.
