The Ernestine Friedl Building

SCIENCE BUILDING / DUKE ART MUSEUM / FRIEDL BUILDING | Open Durham

In 2008, the East Campus Building with many names was dedicated in honor of Duke University Cultural Anthropology Professor Emerita Ernestine P. Friedl. It was previously known as the Science Building, the Art Museum, the Old Art Museum (until the Nasher was built) and then Science once again.
