How has being a Cultural Anthropology graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Has made me much more empathetic as a physician and able to connect better with patients of different backgrounds."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Cultural Anthropology programs?

"If considering a premedical career would really encourage Duke students to highlight the cultural anthropology side of things because the medical field is very interested in diversity and equity, which makes those with a cul anthro background well positioned to speak on these topics."
